"Some of you may remember this beautiful little puppy who wandered onto the set of Death in Paradise last year. I promised to keep you updated. We secured her in the hope of finding her a home. One of our crew members sent photos of Canelle to her mother, and she quickly fell in love. Thank you, my friend Simbad, and your mother.
None of this would have been possible without the hard work of the Copa Guadeloupe volunteers who spend their time rescuing street animals and restoring them to good health before finding them families. So I'm delighted to tell you that Canelle's story is a happy one. She's now living her best life, beyond Paradise, with a loving family and now goes by the name Poe. But she will always be little Canelle to me.
